His family has been rocked by claims his brother Maurice fathered a secret love child.

But that looked like the farthest thing from Bee Gees star Barry Gibb's mind as he enjoyed a cosy lunch date with his daughter Alexandra in Florida.

The pair looked like they were having a great time Jive Talkin' as they made the most of the sparkling sunshine at the posh restaurant The Grill.

The 70-year-old looked like he was having no trouble Staying Alive, as he was clearly in good shape as he sauntered around in a green T-shirt, black jeans and leather shoes.

And the father-of-five seemed to be relishing the chance to catch up with his 25-year-old lookalike daughter as they enjoyed the warm weather in the Sunshine State.

Musician Nick Endacott, 49, was adopted as a baby after his studio manager mother Patti Nolder gave him to a children's home in Woolwich, South London. 

He was stunned when his aunt told him that she said his biological father was Maurice Gibb.

Now he wants a DNA test to prove it after three separate facial recognition tests said there is a high chance the two are related. One returned a match percentage of 95.2. 

But he claims Maurice's widow Yvonne has refused permission for the test.

The music legend died aged 53 due to complications from a twisted intestine in 2003.

And his twin Robin died in 2012 from liver and kidney ­failure.

Mr Endacott believes he has a right to know if he is Maurice's son in case he suffers similar genetic health complications.

The Bee Gees are one of the greatest selling bands of all time, and have sold more than 220 million records worldwide.

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997
